Two of my favorite things about this recipe:
1) It’s dairy free- no need to worry about eating too much and feeling bloated or weighed down after eating a whole jar of this… like I may or may not have.
2) Tahini- um yes! Tahini is the holy grail of all of my dressings right now. Tahini adds a creamy but dairy free texture to any dressing. I will admit it is not flavorless, if you have not had tahini it is like peanut butter but with sunflowers. Sunflowers are blended into a creamy and delicious consistency, tahini is mostly used in hummus or mediteranan dressing. If you are new to plant based eating and not familiar with tahini, go buy some now! Personally i recommend the whole foods 365 brand, but there are several brands that exist and you can normally find it by the nut butters at the grocery store.
